I've pulled out an option 6325 (FLASH MEMORY KIT 8MB E4 / E-64) and installed 8 x 16 mb ram in an E-IV classic instead. But the E-IV will only recognize 96 mb of ram.

All the ram blocks are testet by inserting 2 of the 16 mb blocks at a time to see if it will recognize the 32 mb blocks. I've done that for all 8 blocks and each time it'll recognize 32 mb. But when I insert all 8 blocks at the same time it should see all 128 mb but in my case the E-IV won't see the last 32 mb (2 blocks of 16 mb ram).

I'm running EOS 4.10a.

Might this have something to do with the previous option 6325 which has a sound & flash ram?

Hi

I found the problem.

It had nothing to do with the previous installed option 6325. It was a simple matter of 2 blocks of 16 mb simms that wasn't well seated in the sockets. Ater reseating the simms I got back the 128 mb of ram.
