just bought an E6400 classic, with 2gb Jaz drive, i have upgraded the EOS to 4.62. I'm having problems reading the .Wav files from the PC on the Jaz drive, where am I going wrong? i've tried the Chicken systems translator but that hasn't seemed to help at all.

Hi, i'm new to all things EMU so be gentle just bought an E6400 classic, with 2gb Jaz drive, i have upgraded the EOS to 4.62. EOS 4.7 is required to directly read wave files.
With translator you need to create emu banks .e4B files - presents containing the samples converted from wave.
Plenty of posts on this forum about this - use tghe search function to scan.

Is it safe to install 4.7 on the 6400 classic then? The highest version it gave me on the E-mu site was 4.62. Will have a search about the .e4B files cheers.
