The guys at dreamhost.com messed all up.
In their Status Blog they say that they moved to new hardware and had to restore the websites from backups.
It took about 4 days until this forum has been restored.
It is obvious that these guys were very bad organized. This "move to new hardware" was not planned in any way.
In their blog you can see that a lot of customers complaining about the long downtime.
