Hey there,

for all discussion about EMUs and Card Readers. I got an EMU some Weeks ago with an Card Reader instead of the Floppy.

Yesterday i had finally the time to run the Unit with an Kingston 8GB Card. When i put on the EMU without an CF Card it tooks a long time to boot, the menues were sloppy and freeze-alike. With the CF Card, the Sampler runs up very fast and the Menus are without any Problems.

My EOS is 4.1 and the 8GB were detected by 4.1.

I hope on the weekend i can open the EMU to check on which BUS the Card Reader is connected.

At the beginning of the boot process, the EOS is searching for internal devices. At first the Floppy Drive. If the EOS can`t find a floppy drive, it will do some more "cycles" for finding the drive.........

Yes,

the sampler shows that a floppy is installed, but i think it isnt connected.
