eos3.00b file transfer?

is there any software that supports smdi file transfer over the 3.00b eos? ive got an e6400 classic.. im running xp, ive got the aspi layer installed and phono's smdi detecter seems to say it detects my sampler. i dont have the $$ to order the 2 mb flash rom from emu, and im trying to find a solution to use my emu more adequatly. (i havent got a good audio interface yet) thanks-
