Loading / Connecting via SCSI Question (Ultra 4XT)

Postby monsterjazzlicks » Sat Dec 01, 2012 8:27 pm

Hi Guys,

i am trying to load one of the Emu Sample Library CD's onto my ULTRA 4XT. i have not done it for a couple of years so i have forgotten how i originally did it, but it does work cause as i say i once loaded the entire EMU library on using this method.

Anyway, i have connected the CD player to the EMU via SCSI and set the ID numbers the same on each device. i turn on the CD player first and then then the EMU. But when i go to DISK BROWSE i cant see the CD player listed anywhere. i only have Quantum Fireball and Floppy Disc icons being shown. As far as i can remember this is where the icon should be but i may be wrong.

Would be great if someone could help me get connected and up and running here please.

Best,

Paul

WRONG
Set SCSI ID numbers to different channels
