Sorry it's been so long since I've visited the site - I don't use the Emu any more but realise this is an important resource for some people.
Basically we need to think of a fix for the future.
I've added Jahfunk as a mod but I think we need an administrator to take over the running of the board. Anybody want to put themselves forward?
Any other solutions?
I haven't got much time to do anything here but happy to work with you on what we do.

Hi E-mu heads
I have spent this evening cleaning out as many spam posts as I can find.
I have banned at least 30 of these offenders.
This should make the site better for a while, but in order to tackle this ongoing problem I will need members to report any spamming activity, this will make it quicker to identify, remove and then ban the user.

people are sending me msgs outside of this forum telling me that they cannot join for some reason?
the confirmation email is not being sent to them
maybe you can help?

I have no control of this I am just a mod, Just a user like you but with another panel of control options.
All I am able to do is remove spam and ban the offender.
You need an administrator, try ezman. Not an easy man (excuse the pun) to contact.
