Got a Rorke Data rackmount unit which has a CD Rom and a Hard drive in it via SCSI
My E6400 classic sees the hard drive and all its contents but will not load from it.
It just hangs and I have hit the exit button which takes forever after that, or shut down the Emu and power up again, to get back to normal.
It does see its internal drive and saves /loads fine to that.

I've ck'ed all connectors and even swapped cables.
No SCSI id conflicts at all.
The CD Rom part works fine to load from.
My next step is to pull the rack unit and open it up to ck connections there.

Any ideas ?

I would unmount everything in the box except the drive, and try different ID combinations.
Have you set the SCSI terminator parameter in EOS ? (as far as i can remember there is one).

Sounds like a good series of steps, will try this and update in a day or two
