Hi,

I'm new here and I was wondering if you guys know what has happened to emu's software sampler/editor that was announced at Namm more than a year ago or so.

keep your ears out for a namm announcment this in a few weeks. Hopefully it will be a product launch ;-) maybe some other cool stuff as well.

Our next emulator due around winter NAMM time will be a software sampler
and have all the power and quality of the emulator line with next
generation technology.



i just emailed EMU recently, and they included that statement in their response. so i guess it is most definitely coming out soon.

I think it`s a bit late to make a good entry into the software sampler market but we'll see..They also said their new product can be used as an editor for Emu Ultra's which sounds even more interesting.

Very interesting indeed. It depends on the price though :-)

I hoppe it will have a hardware part that's installed in the computer becouse if its all software, there is no way in hell that it will have that emu sound.
