Let's get them BUGS grouped!!!

Hi everybody!

I've been reading about a lot of different bugs found in this EOS 4.7 lately. I believe it would be good if all who experience a bug would write it down here, with the added info that EMU Tech-service wants. I've read about Panning, Outburst, Floppy speed, samples playing whole RAM in one go etc. etc. I believe it is NOW that we have to inform EMU of all the bugs, because I doubt that they will do more than one update! So if you do not write these things to EMU NOW, they will probably never get fixed EVER!

The below text is what Dave from tech service wrote was needed when adressing them with bugs (I tried to leave that info out, but was asked to give it anyways, so don't even try! ;O)

Also, if you kan describe a procedure to showcase the bug PLEASE DO THAT. That will make EMU more able to locate the bug (not to say; BELIEVE IN IT!).

> Your full name, address and a daytime phone contact number.
> Exactly which model of Ultra sampler you have.
> Exactly which version of EOS is running?
> Have you tried any other versions, and if so, do you still have
> the problem in the other versions?
> The Serial Number of your Ultra
> Date of Purchase of your Ultra, and place of purchase (which dealer
> if purchased new, or note if it was 2nd hand)
> Date of purchase of RFX card, and place of purchase (as above)
> Finally, do you have any output boards installed (like the extra
> RFX 8 analogue outputs, or the RFX ADAT optical In/Out?, or the
> extra RFX 4 Inputs?)

> Also, if you can describe as clearly as possible what happens -
> does the problem occur with all sounds, or only short sounds,
> or only some short sounds? Does the problem occur all the
> time, or only sometimes? If it is only sometimes, is it predictable
> in any way at all?

We need these reports to be fully filled in, and delivered to EMU.Support@customercare.creative.com (sending them to other EMU email addresses will not speed things up!).

this has allready been done by the emu mailinglist. i suggest getting the list from them and then adding the stuff that has been added lately by emusonacid people.. like the sdram stuff, the left start zero fix etc..

Great then! :O)

I guess, that if this will be the last fix from EMU ever, then I want ALL bugs fixed!
