Auditioning samples

Postby spiral'' » Tue Feb 24, 2004 1:47 pm

my e5000 doesn't seem to have an option to audition WAVS. is there any way to do this? i have a lot of WAVS and it would be a shame if i had to load each sample to RAM just to preview it.

is there another format i could convert the WAVS to on my PC that would audition straight form the drive?

Well in disk/browse you should be able to browse samples and audition each one without loading them into ram. Does that work?

Yeah I have E500o and all you have to do is go into disk/browse, then browse banks, then browse samples and it should work.

ok, new problem.

i just got a 2GB Jaz drive hooked up. it seems to be working fine. i can load samples and everything. but i can't audition the samples from the Jaz disk. is there a different way to audition samples from SCSI? or does it just not work?
