shud i hve bought my hardware or mayb waited?

how they gon measure, im sure they can sound the same?

hardware seems mo solid any day tho, lite another billy to that ;)

Hardware is worth it for the D/A A/D converters alone. EMU have shot themselves in the foot IMO.

I don't think so. Thousands of people are will buy these soundcards - how many hardware samplers do you think they would sell? If you said they've shot us in the foot, I might agree with you...

Well they def have shot us in the foot! :cry: :mrgreen:

EMU really had a lock on the sampler market though and I'm not sure that with so many other "free" options in the software sampler world, that they will be able to maintain thier market share. Not to say that they would survive had they stuck to an all hardware format. As far as I know though, the new cards don't have the same converters in them, which is a big shame and I think a big mistake as this is one of the features that set EMU apart.

Granted, I havn't actually tested out one of these cards. Do any of you 'mews (dawgs) who have both wanna share your opinions?

lol thousands are gona buy it .... lol millions of ppl bought windowz, we all know sh!tty that product has proven to be.
