Please Please Please!
I am most interested in hearing the filters - hearing good dnb made with it.
So basses and drum sounds w/ lots of filtering and cool modulations very appreciated.

TIA

The filters of my X sound very much the same as my hardware ultra. There is a really good review of the X in Future Music (may 2004). I'm really starting to get into my X and I believe that the reviewer in FM was right. You can do everything you want to do with this thing. My only disappointment is that they didnt include all of the effects that the RFX card has, but the existing effects are quite good.

after using it for a little while now i'd have to say the filters in emulator x sound different than the ones in the hardware samplers, not better or worse but different. i prefer the ones in the hardware sampler, and prefer the hardware samplers overall but emulator x has it's own strong points (like 96/192kzh clean ass sound quality, and the outstanding sample library that comes with it).

i'm using both together and i like it very much. but i'm still relying more heavily on the e4xt
