how do you resample?

i had a sample loaded and was playing it and went to new sample and seleted the source as resample, but it would not make any sound and thus would not sample any sound. how do you resample?

That's odd. Was the sample playing out the main outs? The Mains are the only output the Emu sees when resampling. That would be the first thing I'd check (pretty simple to check, at least :mrgreen: )

yes it was, until i hit new under sample, then even though it had resample selected as source it made no sound. then i'd hit exit to go backwards and it would make sound again.

are you saying i have to physically run 2 cabled from the main outs to the sample in's and go through another DAC and ADC? i thought it could just sample internally, taking a snapshot of the sample you're playing. i'd really rather not convert the sample again.
