emusonacid! legacy

What can I do.
havent used it for 2 weeks (holiday). now ive turned it on, it says its sleeping - when i hit mount drives, it says 'waking drive' but it doesnt spin up!!!
sounds like a half hearted attempt but then nothing??

anyone had this problem b4?

Hi I've got this problem atm.

Mine either can't see the HD on boot or is ok for 10 mins - sends the drive to sleep and it's all over.

I've just got a scsi zip drive and am trying to back up stuff when i can see the drive.

EMU recommended i then re plug in the the IDN leads just in case a connection has got loose.

Then try with a new hard drive. (i have a spare one for a new pc build)

and if i have no joy then i may need a new lead for the drive .

i spose if that doesn't work then it's a case of repairing the EMU or just going for and external/internal scsi drive. not really ideal.

i'll keep you posted on how i get on.
