Saving Roland S760 Programs

Postby Pete » Sun Aug 01, 2004 11:28 pm

I found that my e6400 Ultra reads the programs on my Roland S760 cds, and a lot of them work well. But when I try to save them, it locks up on the save screen.

Anybody know how to save them to hard disk?

What happens if you try to save a preset into an existing bank? Also check out....

Thanks, I tried saving to an existing bank, and it worked! I was happy about that, but found that I can save a loaded Roland bank to an empty bank now, too. I guess it was a false alarm, must've been a disagreement in my SCSI chain.

The Roland cd's for S-7xx series seem to load fine, I can load a multi as well as single programs. It loses some of the sample-loops, maybe some parameters. Some of the sounds that are "magic" on the S-760 lose the magic during the Emu loading, but others are still really good.

I still have to keep the S-760 for those magic ones, though.
