Mono mode click

Does anyone know a work around to resolve the click created when using the mono playback?

Okay. I can't really answer you because I don't know about your situation. The only thing I understand is that you are playing back in mono... But what? Did you convert to mono from a stereo sample? Where is this click, during the start, end, middle? Does it effect everything? Does show up consitantly at the same time in every sample? Are these samples playing it's duration? What I mean by that is; Are you looping them? Are there filters being used? How is your polyphony when you hear the clicking? Are you using any effects from your emu? what eos are you using? Do you have the RFX card?

Answer some of these question and I might be able to help you.. unless some one else knows about this...

EOS 4.10a, no rfx.In the tuning page, you can choose between monophonic playback or poly. Mono playback emulates the playback of a mono synth. I always have a click when i choose monoA or synthfast...whatever the mono option they all click. The click is at the start of the sound. It's still there even if you push the attack of the ampenv.

okay, now I know what you are on about. I am going to have to play with this. The first suggestion that comes to mind since you have tried the adsr in the attack stage is to see if you can get a bit of a longer tail from the adsr's release stage. OR remove any release what so ever from the adsr. Perhaps that is what is causing the clicking since the sampler is working in mono, it could be cutting the small tail off that is the default setting in the adsr, cause the click. give that a shot and let me know if it works. I will be playing with this some in the next few days.

Hope this helps
