Best way to import gigs worth of samples in to the emu?

Postby aefx » Mon Aug 23, 2004 9:43 pm

I'm a newb with my emu still and if this question has been posted before then I apologise(I did my best to search).

I find that the biggest problem I currently have with my emu is that I need to close out of cubase and load up soundforge each time I wanna import a sample off my HD to my EMU. This is a big hassle. What I'm looking for is the best way to take all my samples off of my hard drive and put them on my EMU. I have roughly 14gigs worth of samples and I have enough space on the EMU's HD. My computer's HD is IDE and the EMU's is scsi.

Anyone have any recommondations?

click on links and resources

and download SMDIXfer GUI

it does bulk smdi transfers!
