Is there such a thing as a bright EMU lcd?

Any problems with your Ultra sampler should be reported here, hopefully someone might know what's wrong.

Is there such a thing as a bright EMU lcd?

Postby bjork01 » Sat Sep 18, 2004 3:41 am

I bought my E-Synth used,it is loaded and sounds terrific but the lcd is working but it's not bright and easy to read like my other synths. Is there something wrong or do I have to accept this as being a part of my EMU?
Thanks,Scott
I hate scsi!!!

You can change the brightness of the display but I can't remember how to,so you will have to read the manual!

To find out if you have 128 voices, hit the MASTER hardware button, then these soft buttons: UTILS, ABOUT, CONFIG. You'll get a window showing you your hardware configuration, which will include the number of voices (ie "channels"). You can also look at the splash screens as the OS is booting up. The other post covered the backlight, so good luck with that. If you never get to fry the bastard who sold it to you, take comfort in knowing that the E-synth is one of the best keyboards ever made. Very underrated. Aside from being a great sampler AND synth, I'd pay a lot for a mute version just as a controller.
