as i mentioned in my last post , i thought a replacement flash rom could solve the issue i had of csum failed everytime i either switched my E64 or tried installing the o.s.???
so my question is this...
has anyone had this problem before, and know a way to fix it - or does anyone have any ideas on what to try??
this headache is getting so big that i might just have to sack the whole thing , as i cant think straight whilst the sampler is not working!!

Have you tried/tested all the Ram that can be taken out - including the CPU Ram (not flash).
I think you really need to find someone local to you, that has an identical working emu. You could then try all their working parts in your emu which should eventually help you narrow down where the problem is.
