Connecting two E4

Postby Finaxos » Thu Jul 21, 2005 12:37 pm

i just bought a second E4. Can i connect two E4's and let them read eachothers HD? That would be nice for backing up some stuff. When i connect through SCSI and mount disk they don't recognize eachother. Maybe because they both have ID 1?

I don't have a computer with SCSI so i want to make a direct connecting between the two. Please help

Hmmm i changed the ID's now but they still don't recognize eachother.

- i changed the id's,
- i formatted the new E4 to FAT under EOS4.70 too... so now they are both the same
- i checked the SCSI cable on my Glyph... it works
- i changed the "Avoid Host" parameters to no avail
- i tried both the primary and secondary SCSI port on bothe E4's

Is this some kind of macho clash between these two E4's? They just
refuse to admit eachothers presence

Anything i might be forgetting?
