Just wanted to introduce myself as i'm new to this board and EMU samplers in general. I currently use an Akai Z4 sampler but after hearing so many great things about the EMU I was fortunate to pick an E6400 Ultra up for ?90 from a local exchange shop. I figured I may aswell spend the money and try my luck with the sampler as it's not exactly a huge investment. Anyway, I wanted to know if EMU or anyone else service these samplers? I can already see that some detail in the screen is fading. The functions in general seem fine. At the moment is running on OS 4.5. What is the best version to run? The RFX card is not fitted.
Any general help on getting the most out of using the sampler would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks.
