E4X worth buying?

Postby billybronco » Mon Nov 21, 2005 4:12 pm

Hi,

I'm in the market for an EMU sampler - I just saw an E4X - is this worth getting or it are the E4XT or E6400 Ultra Fully expanded better to get ?

The more I read specs/reviews the less I know..

Cheers

If the e6400 is fully expanded it is pretty much like the most expensive samplers emu made during the e4-era.

.. I though E4XT was a better device than the E64K ultra?? are there CPU differences? - The Ultra I've seen is cheaper than the XT.

You might wanna check out the "rating of the samplers"(or something)-topic somewhere on the forum. I can't remember if the e4xt is a ultra, but if it is i think it's the same as the e6400-ultra expanded, just that it is factory-expanded and comes with a hardrive with 20 sample-cd's on it or something like that.
