E-MU IV power supply

Postby verfonce » Wed Nov 16, 2005 10:54 pm

I have just bought an E-MU IV with a faulty power supply (I knew it).
After a quick inspection, I think some components or links are missing.
Is someone can send me a picture of his working power supply,
in order to compare ?

OR, is there a component or a link between 230 v and 115 v, and K2 ?

Otherwise, where can I buy a new power supply for my Emu IV ?

Thank you for your help.

I have decided to change the power supply. And it is very easy !
I have found on Ebay a new PSU for 10 euros. UMEC UP0403S-01
There are still another. Here's the link :

Don't worry about the 40W.
Just check the pins and let's go.
My Emu IV has a new life.

The assignments of the pins are printed on the original power supply of the Emu.
Just check the color of the cables and connect them to the new PSU.
The Molex connector is not the same. You have to put several cable (same color) together on one pin.

It's very easy.

If you don't have any internal hard drive, the 40 W PSU is OK and very cheap.

Cheers
