OK, so the retard (me) has figured out how to use his magic box ( the EMU) a bit, thanks to people who are not retards (everyone else), but he has another mind numbing query;

ok third person is stupid

I've actully made a preset, and started using the onboard FX (please...hold your applause) which are quite wikkd. But, where do I find the filter envelopes? like... in the preset editor, I just hit [main] and it gives me the [main fx] option, but I dont' see anything that says [nasty filters that make lesser mortals flee in terror of your greatness].

Thanks a bunch.

you press preset manage , then preset edit, then you have to edit a voice (sample) by pressing amp/filters i think (sorry i ain't got my emu in front of me) - then flick through using the pages buttons....until you come the first filter:low pass......now you have access to the filters, flick through them....they are wicked! especially the shelf one at the end of the list of filters available

becareful with the filters though, you can blow your head off with them, or freak out the nieghbors. i have had a filter go so loud that i damn near pist my pants. i wonder if that is why my speakers are dead now...

also you can tweak all your presets, or samples at once by using the group too, you can change the groups incase you don't want a certain sample to be affect. you can do so much with that sampler. that is why we are all here, so we can find it all out. welcome aboard.
