Instalation of IDE drive in E5000 Ultra

Hi,

I have got a corrupt, data losing dead 30gig HD i'm taking out of my ultra. Ive got a re-con 20gig IBM IDE drive clean formatted. Ive checked on the tweak heads board and it seems the little IBM HD's work fine and for ?10 its cheap

Basic newbie retarded question, but is just a case of plugging my new drive in>hit disk>new drive should appear>format fat32>start saving twisted presets?

Any ideas my bird bashers or it that simple?

Come on my hardware soldiers

I know the old "read the manual" but it is at my other residance and my HD is looking at me all sad in the anticipation of being filled up with disgusting banks that have been created with the knowledge of this lovely board...

Im worried im gonna plug it in and roast my bird

Peace
