ESYNTH LOCKUPS FIXED!

Postby traxzone » Wed Mar 15, 2006 12:34 am

my esynth has started to lockup when i play occasionally;has this happenned to anyone else?removing the scsi chain, substituting new ram and reinstalling the eos has no effect.or, does anyone have service manuals for this keyboard? added:SOFTWARE-4.62,ram 128mb,boot 2.00a. this problem occurs in every mode. traxzone. Amazingly,i fixed this problem by re-initializing the eeprom in tests with the 1358 code, then reloaded everything and the unit works like a charm.do this if anything like it happens to you.many thanks to the entry i was browsing which had instructions on how to actually access this screen. traxzone.

Hi there.

E-synth locking up?.. I've never run into that whilst -playing-..

Give me more information, are you in multi mode or single mode?
What software version also?

The only time personally copped an e-synth crashes is due to scsi chain issues.

Maybe it's worth having the power supply looked at.. (maybe) It's the only other thing, I suspect could cause an issue.. outside of scsi, atleast.

Hollah back, and to tangent alittle, let me know if you still have the original factory disks, I need to obtain them again, or even a back up..

'Nuff peesh.

Hayden
