hi mate,
it is a good thing you asked this before you went out and purchased. Now... I don't remember which model number refers to the mainboard outputs and which refers to the rfx outputs but to put it plain and simple are you ever planning on getting the rfx card? If so DO NOT get the output expander that goes to the mainboard? Why? Because if you get that it won't work with the rfx card and you will need to re-buy the outputs for the rfx card at a later date. The rfx outputs hook directly to the rfx card itself which is how it does its routing. It is also 24 bit which the others aren't... I believe they are only 16. If you are planning on getting the rfx card then get the proper outputs for that. It is also about half the price of the other outputs which are the same price as a rfx card itself! IT would be much better to go that route. If you don't want an rfx card then the other will suit just find and will match the quality of the outputs already present in the sampler.
I hope this helps.
