No audio out?

Postby pauldirks » Fri Jun 09, 2006 5:45 am

I'm must be tired...or somethings very wrong. I got no audio out on my e6400 ultra. I did just install a hard drive but that shouldn't do anything- right? Midi's coming in, but nothings going out on main outs or sub outs (tested first subs). Nothing coming out of headphone jack. Anything else I could try? I keep thinking there's gotta be something stupid I'm overlooking...I hope.

Hi Paul,

After being in my studio for a long night, I once had the same. At that time overlooked the mainvolume pot at the lefthand side of the front panel, took me a while to figure that out. Boy felt I stupid, but glad it was something simple as that.

OK- I finally figured it out. I had disconnected the two 3-pin connectors from the motherboard to the volume control and headphone plug. Must have been when I was fitting a hard drive. Wheewww.

Glad it was something simple as this and nothing serious.
