how does this work again? in the tools section under option 3 you can get into the parametric eq. now tell me if i am right:
gain, is for the boosting and decreasing of a frequencie's amplitude. right?
the center frequency is were the "bell" of the eq will be at it's lowest right?
the band width is equivant to the Q of a parametric eq right?
so if i have a really small Q and a center frequency of 500, then that frequency will only be affected, right?
now if i have a Q of say 100 and a center frequency of 500, does that mean that the eq starts to affect 100hz to the left and to the right of the center frequency? so basically if i could see it graphicaly it would look like a bell going from 400, lowest point 500, then back up at 600?
is that how it works, or is it more like a split? like fifty on eiter side?
i thought i understood parametric eq's but i can't seem to get quite what i want out of the emu's, well results that i would't have thought i would get anyway.
any input would be great.. thanks
