version 2.9 build 107

fat formatted by emu

No SCSI HD just a regular pc removable drive.

No problem on the screwed settings, I don't have any need for it anymore.

hmm, same setup here.... I just cannot see that FAT entry.... do I have to alter any options to be able to see it? it seems by default that if I choose EOS Bank, it creates EOS FAT banks. Maybe I should give the other method with Halion a try ...

On a slightly different saving topic :
I have an Akai 3000 formatted disc, trying to bulk save this to my hard drive.
Noticed that an EMU factory disc the save/back up button comes up but not when Akai disc is in drive.
Do I have to manually save these banks in the tedious time consuming process?
PC is not hookedup so that is not an option.
any thoughts?

Here's how I've been doing it.

1. Put the akai CD into the SCSI CD drive
2. Mount the drive from my EMU (This enables the EMU to recognise its an Akai disk)
3. navigate to the bank I want.
4. Press f4 to load (which takes a while to convert)
5. Save the imported Bank to the internal IDE HD of the EMU.

Thanks OM,
But I am trying to load the whole disc in one shot to my HD. I can do it with EMU factory discs but not the aftermarket akai formatted disc.
Bank by Bank will take forever.
Any ideas anyone

I finally decided to stop wasting my time trying out all sorts of software and techniques and none of them works. So, I really did the bank by bank import and save like OM described ... very painful, but the only thing that works for me ...
