Other E-mu related forums, perhaps?

Postby vermis_rex » Tue Jan 02, 2007 5:43 pm

While I absolutely love this board, and have been a nearly-daily visitor since I got my first e6400-Classic during the summer '06 (followed shortly thereafter by an e6400-Ultra... 'cause its faster and runs the FAT friendly EOS 4.7), it occurs to me that there are users of a lot of other "legacy" E-Mu gear that I'm sure would appreciate an easy to find central web site forums thingy.

I would therefore propose adding (at least) one new forum for "other E-mu legacy gear" (or something to that effect)... for those of use who are still addicted to our Morpheus, etc. The "everything else" catagory forum seems a little too general (and says "non-emu related")

(ok, it's really because I just bought a PX-7 Command Station, and web forums like this are easier to run around in than Yahoo! groups)

Thats a pretty good idea vermis. I too have a command station (XL-7) and it would be kewl to discuss the beast on this kewl forum.

Not a bad idea. Just wondering, are there other emu forums around? I've enver cared to look. Because, as the years pass by there are going to be less and less e-mu users that activly use their gear, so maybe a merge with some other forum is in order?

Hi, I'll put another forum in here, what would you want to call it?

Hi Guys

I am a Newbie and love the EMU kit (ANY !)

What would be really nice is a samples section in this web site. Yes, the owner number will go down over the years, but these machines still have a long way to go becase of the way they are built.

Regards

Zak

Great idea - I have a px-7 which i could use a lot more (i.e out of its box)
and i'm sure lots of us have some of the other emu modules and command stations which we could all share tips, tricks and solutions with perhaps call it emuzounds or something....ok perhaps not but you get my drift.
