EIV Create Sample problem

Postby diccon » Wed Jan 17, 2007 11:51 pm

Undetered by my previous experience with a broken 6400, I just got a second hand EIV, its got EOS 3.0 and seems to work fine in every respect except that I can't seem to record a sample.

I do Manage Sample/New Sample which brings up the Create Sample screen, however when I play a sound into it I hear nothing. On top of that, the ADC Gain, Key, Arm, and Force buttons are greyed out, and there is a little bit of text at the top saying "No AES".

Has anyone encountered this before? It seems like the sample input has been disabled, does anyone know if it is possible to re-enable it?

you may want to navigate to the AES setting using the arrow keys and change it to Analog.

This should give you joy.

Yes you are right, I don't know how I managed to not see the analog/digital input source selector, it all works fine!

Thanks for your responses.
