Do I need Output Expander Cards installed 4 the RFX 2 Work?

I would like to get the RFX card for my E4XT. I been reading the forums and would like to know if I need the output expander cards installed in order for the RFX card to work? Thanks

I don't know to be honest... see I have read so much about glitches and issues with upgrading to the likes of 4.7 and using the RFX card that I was too afraid to try them out. My bird works... why fuck with it...

I have RFX in an E6400 Ultra, no ouput expanders installed. Hope that helps.
