Sometimes i sampled the Vst Instruments back to Emu.
I made this when the "Korg Legacy VSTi " came out , and my Mac didn`t had enough
Power, ( and i didn?t liked the VSTPlug User Interface from the Polysix and WS ).
So i made " my best of "from Polysix and WS VSTPug in my Emu Ultra.
Sixtysixnorth, yes a million times! I've been really really gettin into this during the last week havin been duped so to speak into the whole vst thing. The more I investigate the more I am amazed at exactly how you describe the Emu. Lush Fullness is the quality that it has. Back and forth a million times and its really so much more alive than the vst's. Now, seems I'm knocking the vst's and acually, I am! I've spent a small fortune on them. Far more than what this secondhand E4XT Ultra cost me. I would venture to say, that aside from the Steinway in Kontakt (My particular favorite in pianos right now)(the updated version that is) that the Emu has far supirior sound quality and that includes the EWQL Gold as far as I'm concerned. Yep, been comparing it to the allmighty EWQL. To me, the Emu wins hands down. Have a good friend that was a violinist in the Boston Symphony and called her over for a compaisum, and even she agreed. The lush fullness of the Emu is a thing of beauty,
wigworld, now that I've got my senses about me, I'm right there with ya. What the hell was I thinkin?I wouldn't sell it for the world.
MFP, I have been samplin the vst's back to the Emu also but it's been slow so far. I do like the results at this point though. This will help me get better aquainted with sampling and possibly get me more away from vst's.Yes Thats it! That?s why i stay still on Emu.
