there is probably a good reason why people still use the old stuff. it beats learning the ends and outs of a program agian and again. i still have pro audio 8, and now cakewalk has sonar. but i really don't care, i find 8 does all i need for now, and as far as i am concerned i don't need to go anywere else
as for the internal sequencer. don't know. never used it. and why would you have to trigger out side of it? you should be able to use your sampler all by it's self. i know if i wanted, i could do all my work in cakewalk with out a keyboard. just draw in the notes and whatever. but the keyboard make things go faster. especialy for those that do all their sequencing real time. i still perfer step......
i think one time a few years ago, when i first got my sampler, i got stuck in the sequencer bit. took me a half an hour to get out of it. man talk about a learning curver.
good question though.. wonder if any one here has used the internal seq...
